For nearly three decades, the San Francisco based vocal/guitar jazz pair have cast their passionate musical spell worldwide, capturing the hearts of lovers, respect of jazz buffs, and jaw-dropping awe of guitarists. Their instinct for refining their music, technique and career never wavers from their credo: It's not done if it's not from the heart. And what comes from the heart demands excellence.

On stage they are each other’s inspiration, two creative forces challenging one another to stretch their musical boundaries. And when at last he unstraps his guitar and she puts down her microphone, they are husband and wife. Between just the two of them Tuck & Patti, have cornered a market based on love, harmony and undying trust in one another’s instincts.

For their Redwoods Arts concert, Tuck & Patti will draw some songs from their most recent album, I Remember You which contains jazz gems by Ellington, Gershwin, Jerome Kerns and Rodgers & Hart.  Opening the season with material from I Remember You is especially fitting as this season is dedicated to the memory of Kit Neustadter, the founder of Redwood Arts, who passed away this past spring, and her husband Steve who was integral to the series when he passed away in 2002.  Tuck & Patti were among Kit’s favorite artists, and will be signing copies of the CD after the show.
