These three highly popular Bay area musicians who form Trio Barocco bring to life the exquisite Baroque instrumental music composed for the courts and chambers of 18th century Europe. Performing on original instruments, Kathleen Kraft, flute, David Morris cello, and Phebe Craig, harpsichord, combine impeccable scholarship with infectious enthusiasm.  Just as the cleaning of and old painting reveals its original bright colors, so performing an old work with the instruments, tempos, ornamentation, and in short, the style of its period allows the composer’s art to shine through.
